HOW DOES IT WORK?
The barrel is stabilized by a servo system which attenuates erratic and unintentional barrel movement.
The servo adjusts the weight distribution geometry of the stock and the barrel in such a way as to keep the barrel pointing in the same direction.
WHERE CAN THE FIXPOINT TECHNIQUE BE USED?
The Fixpoint stabilization can be applied to most handheld rifles, in particular bolt action rifles, semi-automatic rifles and carbines.
SIMILAR TECHNIQUES FOR OTHER APPLICATIONS
Stabilization techniques has been used for a long time for applications like video cameras and binoculars – with Fixpoint the same idea is applied to the design of rifles.
